We are pleased to announce that a new agreement has been successfully reached between the Office of Professional Employees (OPE) and Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS) regarding salary compensation.
Key highlights of the agreement include:
Year 2 of the Agreement:
Effective January 1, 2026 (FY26), all BCPSOPE represented employees shall advance one step on their pay scale and Step 25 shall be added to the 10 and 12-month pay scales. Employees on Step 24 shall advance to Step 25. Effective January 1, 2026 (FY26), the value of the 10 and 12-month pay scales shall be increased by 2.75%
Year 3 of the Agreement:
Effective January 1, 2027 (FY27), the value of the 10 and 12-month pay scales shall be increased by 4.7%. Employees will remain on their current step.
