Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS) announced that the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (which replaces the current payroll system) would be implemented on July 1, 2025. BCPS’ transition to the new ERP system includes a shift to pay in arrears for all employees.
BCPS will move all salaried employees (TABCO, CASE and OPE) to pay in arrears. As a result, the salaried pay cycle will be aligned to the hourly pay cycle, resulting in all BCPS employees being paid on the same pay date, beginning July 11, 2025.
As stated in November, a one-time advance pay option will provide an amount close to approximately five (5) days of the employee’s normal pay to offset the three-week gap caused by the transition of BCPS’ salaried employees from the current system to pay in arrears. 12-month employees who opt-in for the one-time pay advance will receive it on July 11, 2025. 10-month employees who opt-in for the one-time pay advance will receive it on September 5, 2025. Please note, both advance dates coincides with the first pay in arrears for 12-month, or 10-month employees; as previously noted, these are five (5) day pays, and so the advance would approximate a full, regular pay for all employees who opt-in.
Those who choose the one-time advance pay option may complete a Microsoft form, with the opt-in period beginning on February 10, 2025 and closing on April 30, 2025.
