We recognize that many of you are being asked to do more with less, and we want to acknowledge the extra effort, creativity, and perseverance you continue to show. Your commitment ensures that students, families, and schools have the support they need, even when resources are stretched.
As we launch the 2025-26 school year, remember that every role—whether on the front lines or behind the scenes—directly supports our students’ success. We deeply appreciate the way you continue to rise to the challenge, balancing high expectations with limited resources, and still delivering excellence for our schools.

BCPSOPE Updates
🌟 Negotiations Update – A new MOU is available for your review. It includes the 1% COLA effective September 20, 2025 and 1.75% COLA and step increase as of January 1, 2026. Year 3 of the salary agreement is also included.
🌟 Remote Work – As a result of consistent advocacy by you and the diligent efforts of the Negotiation Committee, an MOU for Remote Work has been created. When the signed agreement is available, we will post it for you on the OPE website.
🌟 Upcoming Events – Planning for the Annual Meeting is in the works. Save the dates for October 8 and 9 and be on lookout for the RSVP.
🌟 Comp Time – The MOU detailing the eligibility for comp time has been updated for the 2025 – 2026 year.
