The Board of Education recognized that COVID and the ransomware attack required many employees to work excessive overtime hours. As a result, comp hours earned were significant. To ensure that employees were able to either use their earned comp time or be compensated for unused comp time, a Memorandum of Understanding was created. The requirement to use comp time before vacation time or personal leave time has been suspend for FY21. All unused comp time will be paid after June 30, 2021.
