Negotiations and Budgets Update

Negotiations: The Negotiation team has completed (4) sessions with the Board of Education and negotiations are continuing. There continues to be a spirit of cooperation with the groups and we expect to have an Agreement finalized in the Dec/Jan time frame.
Budget: our Transition Team of (10) members continues to volunteer time and effort at no cost to OPE. Expenses to date have been for administration and insurance required of the Organization as a non-profit group.
The Office of Food Services was highlighted at the Nov 5 BOE meeting.
The Office of Accounting was highlighted at the Dec 3 BOE meeting.
Our dues paying membership continues to grow with about 30 % of our members enrolled.
