- Negotiations: The volunteer Negotiation Team is in the final stages of negotiations with the BOE. Expectations are to complete negotiations in February. Once negotiations are completed, OPE will conduct a ratification vote for approval / disapproval of the proposed changes to the contract. REMINDER: only dues paying members may vote on the proposed contract. If you are not a member, complete the application form and ensure your vote is heard.
- Expenses: Upcoming expenses will include payment for services rendered by our Chief Negotiator who is managing our negotiation process with our OPE negotiation team and the BOE. In addition, tax returns are required by the IRS for our organization. OPE has selected a CPA firm to prepare our tax returns.
